It is known that the groom, Hua Minh Tuong, and the bride, Truong Van Lam, had a long period of courtship before getting married. The groom worked at the Gia Nghia district office while the bride worked as a nurse in Chong Hua (two places more than 70km apart). Last year, Minh Tuong invited Van Lam’s family to witness his proposal, and the two families then discussed the wedding.
