On Saturday, the offspring of Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa exchanged vows in France.

Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg looked every bit regal as she exchanged vows with Nicolas Bagory in a breathtaking religious ceremony at Saint Trophyme church in Bormes-Les-Mimosas, France on April 29th. The couple had already officially wed in a private civil ceremony at City of Luxembourg Town Hall a week earlier. The newlyweds’ official photographs, released by the Grand Ducal court on Sunday, captured the couple’s deep affection for each other. Princess Alexandra, 31, looked stunning in an ethereal ivory satin bridal gown that draped elegantly.

Princess Alexandra’s bardot-style wedding dress was truly enchanting, and was elevated even further with a magical veil adorned with beading and pearlescent tulle. Her chocolate tresses were styled in a Rapunzel-inspired plait, which she paired with a glittering halo tiara and regal pearl-drop earrings to complete her royal look.

The groom, Nicolas, looked equally sharp in suave pinstripe trousers and a traditional slate grey tailcoat. The couple exchanged their vows surrounded by their loved ones, including Princess Alexandra’s parents Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa, as well as her siblings Prince Guillaume, 40, Prince Felix, 38, Prince Louis, 36, and Prince Sébastien, 30.

Alexandra and Nicolas had announced their engagement plans in November 2022, and the Grand Ducal court had released a stunning engagement photo of the couple. The photo showed the smitten couple cuddling, with Princess Alexandra proudly displaying her sparkling ring. The princess had paired her diamond and gold accessory with a lilac square-neck top and matching blazer, while her fiancé looked sharp in a dark blue suit.

The official announcement read as follows: “Their Royal Highnesses the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess are thrilled to announce the engagement of their daughter, Her Royal Highness Princess Alexandra, to Mr. Nicolas Bagory.

“Born on November 11, 1988, in Brittany, Mr. Bagory studied political science and classics before pursuing a career in the creation of social and cultural projects. The wedding is scheduled to take place in the spring.

“The two families join in the joy of the engaged couple and surround them with their love and affection.”
