Mama June Shannon has been under fire after confessing that she had stolen money from Alana. Fans have been leaving comments on her social media pages asking when she is going to pay her daughter back.

Her confession even earned a video response from Teen Mom star Kailyn Lowry, who questioned how the family was out of money. Mama June stitched the clip and responded to Kail’s accusations, but fans aren’t buying it.
Fans Can’t Agree On How Much Mama June ‘Stole’
One fan took to Reddit to start a discussion about the legitimacy of the story that is being told. They labeled the post “It’s all a ploy.”
The Reddit user wrote, “Might be [an] unpopular opinion, but I don’t think Mama June spent Alana’s money. I think it was put in the Coogan, which we know she can’t touch then. I think this now is a plot for the show and they have taken advantage to get extra money.”
According to the original poster, nobody’s story is matching up. “I think it’s because they’re all covering up something,” they concluded.

“Any filming that took place outside of California doesn’t have any type of laws that says you have to save it for your children,” one commenter pointed out. The only money that Alana would have made in California would have been from her time on Dancing With The Stars and The Masked Singer. Even then, Mama June would have only had to put the bare minimum into the Coogan account.
While it is possible that Mama June didn’t spend all of Alana’s money, most people are willing to bet she spent a large chunk of it.
“Let’s be frank june snorted every dime available to her!” one person wrote. Another agreed, “That money turned into a cocaine hill that June snorted everything including the dust.”
