“After doing long-distance for so long, it feels almost miraculous to be finally united and build a life together by each other’s side,” Sierra tells PEOPLE

Another 90 Day couple is married!

Sophie Sierra and Rob Warne tied the knot last summer in a small beach wedding in Santa Barbara, California, the couple tells PEOPLE.

For the pair’s June 16 nuptials, they invited just 12 guests and decorated with baby blue and baby pink accents.

“We both wanted serene beach vibes and to celebrate with our friends and family and loved ones,” says Sierra. “That was the most important.”

The couple, who initially met on Instagram, wrote their own vows and also took a moment to thank “family and those who have been there for us on this journey.” During the ceremony, the pair, who appeared on season 10 of the TLC series, also dedicated a reading to Bob Marley, as a nod to their love of his music.

For her walk down the aisle, the bride chose a “cute” short, spaghetti strap dress and a floral headpiece and veil. She paired the look with statement jewelry.

Warne’s sister, Victoria, who is a professional wedding planner, helped coordinate the couple’s beach nuptials.

As for their wedding dinner, Sierra notes, “I am a little bit of a fussy eater and have the palate of a child, so we chose to have a picnic-style buffet where we offered our attendees chicken nuggets, pizza, cupcakes – all my favorites!”

For dessert, they served a baby pink and blue tiered cake with chocolate and vanilla filling, plus cupcakes.

While the newlyweds have had their fair share of relationship ups and downs,  they couldn’t wait to celebrate their marriage.

“We mostly looked forward to simply being together,” says Sierra.  “After doing long-distance for so long, it feels almost miraculous to be finally united and build a life together by each other’s side – physically.”

As the pair continues to enjoy newlywed life, and their “truly memorable” wedding, they are looking towards building a future together.

“We’re excited about the companionship and being able to go through life with someone by our side,” says Sierra. “We have big and similar goals and we are happy we can help each other toward making them all happen.”
